1st Trip to the Movies

Last Wednesday, we took Noah to see his first movie, which was Toy Story 3. We felt it was the best idea to wait until this came out considering Toy Story is by far his favorite favorite movie. It was such a great experience, i was in tears to know my little boy is almost 2. He is putting sentences together, and can say his ABC's and count to 23. Any way back to Toy Story, he sat through the entire movie and was in shock!
Here is the little monkey with his Woody, he is so cute with him, he sleeps with him, and feeds him and carries him everywhere. We almost wonder if he thinks he is real :) This was right when we sat down and he was pretty unsure of the whole idea, but eventually got used to it.

Finger Painting

I had Noah do his first ever finger painting experience, with a nervous Mommy and an excited Noah it turned out better than I had thought :) He was so excited, but good news is he didn't get paint anywhere but the paper!

Hi Again!!

Hey we're back, we have been so busy with life, that i haven't had much time to upload and update! This past week we took a walk at a local nature preserve right after dinner. Noah is now at the age, that we are able to do enjoyable family adventures together, and he understands them, and asks to do more of them. :) He was able to burn off energy before bed and we all spent quality time together, hard to get these days :)

He loved loved smelling the flowers, everytime we walked by he would say, "Mommy... flower.. pretty". So very precious.

Noah's 1st Boat trip!

On Saturday my dad took Noah, myself, Kelly, Dylan and Brittany out on the boat. It was Noah's first time on the boat, and at first he was a little nervous, but then he ended up loving it! We went to a sand bar that had a ton of live starfish and conch's and sea urchins! every time we drove around it put the little monkey to sleep, he was so cute! :)

Mommy and Noah at the sandbar.

These are the starfish we found, it was so funny to see an indention on the sand then a few minutes later, the starfish started surfacing.

Noah at first was "petting" the starfish then he realized he could pick them up, except that's as much as i let him, because these starfish had spikes on them and i didn't want him to get hurt.

Busy Busy Week!

With school coming to an end, Nick working three jobs, and Noah growing into such a boy, we have been a very busy busy family. In the beginning of the week we stayed at Amie and Mike's house to watch the kids. They won a two free nights at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Ft. Lauderdale, which was their first time away from Cody! So needless to say it was well over needed for them. It was fun being with the kids and Noah actually now starting to like Cody:) During this week i had 3 Critical Assignments due and also one big final exam, it was really hard to manage 4 kids and school work plus the daily chores. All in all we had a great time!

Yes, Noah is eating peas, he loves them!! He wanted them for his snack time :)

At this point all the kids were home and Cody was only happy outside, and of course Noah didn't like that i was holding Cody. :)

The night we got home from watching the kids, Noah and I were playing in his room, and whenever Noah hears the freezer open, he runs in the kitchen to grab an ice cube. But i knew my mom was getting ice cream, and it was right before Noah's bedtime, so i said to my mom not to let him have any, because he would get a sugar rush and miss his bedtime. Next thing i know is i walk down stairs to Noah climbing on my mom to get her ice cream cone. He had never had a cone before, im pretty sure he enjoyed it :)

Frills from the Sea

I've decided to start selling my hair accessories, this week i have already sold 6! I have also had company's request i bring my accessories in and they will sell them in their stores, one being MAC makeup, and a local spa. I love being a stay at home mom, but its been hard getting used to not having a consistent pay of my own, i mean ive been working since i was 14! With making and selling my hair things, i feel like im contributing some how, and it is fun to do, while in the meantime gives me something to do while Noah is napping and all my school work is done. :) The hair accessories start at $10 for a basic clip and for whatever the person wants done, i.e., ribbons, bows, headbands, swavorski crystals, will be extra. I have a ton of different color ribbons and it makes the clip so fun and bright, but still adds the natural beachy flare!

Boy Noises

Honestly boys must be born with the knowing of how to play video games, and when playing with trucks to make noises, that sound like particular vehicle. A 20 month old shocks me when he picks up the Wii controlling and starts playing a game, or when he plays with a truck and makes "vroom vroom" noises. Im telling you it runs in their genes because swear Nick does all the same things still. I guess boys will be boys:)

We also got Noah his first hair cut this past week, he was really very unhappy at first but then didnt mind, once he was able to eat a lollipop, sit on my lap, and watch the backyardigans! :)

I know my body!

I finally got a video of Noah pointing to his body parts when i ask him, he has been doing it for a few months, but every time the camera comes out he acts silly. I'm hoping to get a video of him saying his ABC's but so far he acts silly while seeing the camera. The kids thought this was really funny watching Noah point to his body. :)
