Christmas Decorations

Being that this is our first year of many Christmas's I wanted to make it special. I wanted to have a tree that was different from other people and be able to have some kind of family tradition while decorating every year. Since we love the "coastal" look and living in Florida, we decided to have a coastal / traditional Christmas tree. We still have all of our normal Christmas ornaments, but we added Starfish, shells, sand dollars, and coastal ornaments. We love our tree it shows what we love and looks really cute in our house! ;) For the family tradition aspect, Noah helped me decorate the tree and he also decorated some of the shell ornaments we put on the tree! He loved doing it, and it would be a fun thing to continue each year. My mom helped so much around the house to help me decorate as well, and she brought us lots of fun Christmas decoration gifts!! :) Life Saver!!

More Disney....

More Disney Pictures, we have so many its hard to decide between all of them to post! So im just breaking them up! :)

One of the one hundred and one Dalmatian figurines at our hotel. Everytime we passed by noah would say " Aww the wittle puppy."
The building size Woody at the hotel, Noah was in shock.
Waiting to see Mickey and Minnie while attacking Daddy.
He wasn't scared at all, but very shy..
Soo Seeing Woody and Jessie was the most exciting experience for him. When we walked up he did not know what to do. He held on so tight to my neck and pushed his mouth into my cheek and was panting! he was so silly and soo excited to see him! To this day he still has not stopped talking about Woody!

Painting...

Today was the first day in quite some time that Nick finally had a weekend day off. We took advantage of it and got a lot done. We finally got our Christmas tree, pulled out all of the bushes and weird plants in the front yard, and painted the outside of the house! Brittany, Bryan, and my dad were also a great big help!! Here is the house almost all the way done! :)

Here is our house before landscaping and paint!

Almost al the way finished!
Pardon the mess ;)

Twinkle Twinkle Yittle Star

Noah loves to sing, but his favorite so far is Twinkle, Twinkle little star. After watching the movie I started to cry, at how fast this little boy is growing up! ( and probably the pregnancy hormones running through my system :)

It's A Boy!

Today we went to the doctor and found out I am 18 weeks along and we are having another boy! Noah is not sure as to what is going on, but i know he will love having a brother so close in age to him. I originally wanted a little girl, being that this is our last baby, but i know God has bigger better plans for our family, and we cannot be happier! Atleast we know what to expect for the most part! :)

Our upcoming week!

We have a very busy, exciting week for us Norley's! So needless to say i may not be posting very much until next weekend! My school schedule is out of control due to the end of the semester coming up, Nick is very very busy with work, and Friday we are taking Noah on his very 1st trip to Disney World! Nan, i know you keep up with our blog so i wanted to thank you and Smokey for the tickets! Noah is so very very excited, and i will use the camera that i know i can get all my pictures on!! :) We are leaving Friday afternoon time and hopefully getting up there before dark. Luckily Auntie Amanda is going to be in Orlando so we are going to try and match schedules and meet for dinner or some kind of fun. We are staying at the Disney All Star movie resort, they have themed rooms, can you guess which one we are staying in? Toy Story! They also have 30 foot tall Buzz and Woody figurines, Noah is going to freak! :) Then on Saturday we are going to go to Magic Kingdom for the day and then at night go to MGM to see the Christmas light decorations! We are hoping it is an enjoyable weekend for all of us, keep your fingers crossed Noah does well! :)

New Car

Dylan was so nice and gave Noah is battery operated ride in car! Noah was so excited to drive it, he's still a little too short to get his feet fully on the bottom peddle, which means he cant steer straight all the time! :)

Halloween Day!

Finally I've gotten to the most exciting day of all Halloween! During the day Nick, Noah and I finally got to spend an entire morning by ourselves together, which doesn't happen very often. We ran a few errands and took Noah to our neighborhood park, we then came home and baked cupcakes for everyone at Amie's. Noah really loved baking the cupcakes, but was soo excited to dress up as Woody! We even got a little surprise from Daddy, who bought a costume without us knowing :) We went to Amie's for trick-or treating, when we got there I put Noah in his costume, and he was a little weary and stand offish for about 30 minutes, he didn't fully understand why everyone was dressed up. He finally warmed up to it, and we went trick or treating, he loved it, we went with Dylan and Toby, Uncle Jacob, Lindsey, Uncle Jeff and "Mario" as Noah was calling Nick all night. The only time he really got scared and wanted me to pick him up is when there were scary people dressed up sitting in chairs. All in all he did great and had so much fun!
While we were stirring he kept trying to lick the batter.

Yummy!!
Here is silly Daddy dressed as Mario!
Still in his shy mode.
50 pound pumpkin Amie and Mike got in N. Carolina.
Finally our happy boy!

Painting and Carving Pumpkins

Last weekend we met up with Jimenez's so the kids could paint pumpkins and they had a ball! After Nick Noah and I carved out our pumpkin and Noah had so much fun, he loved cleaning out the seeds and throwing them on the baking sheet!

Halloween Festivities

Happy Halloween! This past week, we did a lot to start getting ready for Halloween, we went to the pumpkin patch, got trick or treat decorations, painted pumpkins, and made Halloween cupcakes. Now since i have most of the pictures on my computer, i will put some up each day this week leading up to Noah's big trick or treating night. He is going to be Woody, from Toy Story, and he is so excited, he walks around saying, " Howdy partner". :)

NOAH! We still need naps!

The time has come where Noah has been fighting me tooth and nail to take a nap! He will lay in his crib for an hour to an hour and a half and not fall asleep, and when the time has passed, its too late for him to fall asleep. We still need these naps, he is really cranky the next day, even though he goes to bed earlier than his bedtime, he is missing an extra 3 hours of sleep! While he is in his crib, he is standing playing with his fan switch turning it on and off watching it, and now he is trying to climb out!! YES i said it , climb out! Yesterday i walked into get him ( after not falling asleep) and both feet were off the great one leg was thrown over the crib. Luckily i walked in when i did, because on his crib or around it, there is nothing for him to put his leg on. So i think this week, i am going to try and transition him into his toddler bed. Not only to keep him safe from hurting himself but also to have him trained by the time the baby gets here. I will update on how crazy this adventure is going to be :)

Here is Noah through his video monitor staring at the fan while switching it on and off! Sorry about the very scary eyes ;)

New Scooter!

Nick, Noah and I were out and about running errands this morning, and Noah kept telling us he wanted a skate board! So we went to Toys' R Us and found him the safest closest thing to a skateboard... a scooter!!! The kid loves it! The age requirements is 3-5, but we knew he was tall enough for it, so we got the necessary safety precautions.. knee and elbow pads! :) He is actually really good at it as well, he balances great and knows how to use his feet to move! This is going to be by far his favorite toy for a while. It's crazy to think he is already 2, putting sentences together, almost fully potty trained, and riding BIG boy toys! It is insane how fast the past two years have gone. But we are ready to do it all over again with the second one, and Noah is ready to be a big brother and teach baby "b" everything it needs to know!

Imagination Station

Yesterday morning Kimber and I took Aubrien and Noah to a park called the Imagination Station. It is such a cool park, it is older and everything is wooden, it has a ton of different hiding spots, and a lot of fun things to climb on. Noah is no doubt a climber, he loves it, but thankfully he is still not climbing out of his crib yet! :) Any way it was a beautiful morning to be outside, it was very cool with shorts and long sleeves on, a refreshing change. At the Imagination Station, you are also able to feed the ducks. So Kimber brought a ton of old bread and cereal. Noah was a little scared of them because there were so many of them! All in all it was a fun experience and we will be taking Daddy this week!

Whoa Belly!

It has most definitely been a crazy week with Cody, Noah, a new puppy, and 5 classes! But we have had fun and it is preparing us for what is to come. This belly reassures me it is no doubt coming!

Next week I will only be 12 weeks, which I am learning with your second pregnancy, you tend to show faster. With Noah I didn't actually "pop" until 5 months! Just keeping everyone updated on this growing baby, next doctor appointment is Oct 26th!

10 Days!

Amie, Mike, and my parents drove to Pennsylvania a few days ago for my cousins wedding, and left all the kids home! Lucky them right!? :) So Nick and I are watching Cody for the days they are gone, and Lilli through this weekend. I guess you can say its giving me a dose of what may come?
