New Hair cut and Counting

Today Noah got his second hair cut! His hair was ridiculously long, to where it was the shape of a really bad mullet, poor kid. He ended up doing better this time than last, he had to sit on my lap again but this time no tears.

Another thing Noah really loves to do is line things up in straight line and count them as he is putting them out. Once they are put in order he will count them again! He will do this with anything he can. :)

Painting Fun

Noah loves loves to paint, but since moving in, there hasn't been much time to use his new painting supplies he got for his birthday from Auntie Amanda and Uncle Jon. As well as I didn't have anything to keep the paint from getting anywhere. So yesterday we went to Toy's R us to look for something to keep the paint fresh. We found that Melissa and Doug ( which his paint supplies are through) had canisters that keep the paint fresh but also he can put his paint brush in and it takes off all the excess paint on the brush! It's our new love! :) So Noah has now been on a painting adventure!

Meet Pepper

We added a new addition to our growing family on Wednesday! A puppy!! Her name is Pepper, she is a lab and beagle mix. As of right now she is 11 pounds and will only grow to be 30 -35 pounds. We adopted her from a rescue called Big Dog Ranch, she lives with a "foster parent" who loved her and took great care of her. She is a spunky energetic puppy, from what I have read the mix she is, is a perfect family kid dog! Noah was so excited, when we asked him what he wanted to name her he said " Alley", which is silly because that is his Auntie Amanda and Uncle Jon's dogs name. But now having them home they play like they are two puppies together it is the cutest thing! We bought her a little monkey chew toy (bad decision on my part) considering Noah loves monkey's, he keeps taking it from her and telling her to share. We may have to get him a toy monkey of his own :)

Our New House

Last Friday we finally closed on our house!! So for two days we painted like crazy, our families came over to help, and on Sunday night was our first night we were able to stay the night! Its almost all done, we have a few odds and end things to work out. Noah loved the new house, but for the last two and a half days he has had a fever of 102 - 103. I took him to the doctor and he said there was no sign of any infection so I am waiting until later in the day to take him back, if his fever hasn't gone down. But other than him being sick he's been in love with it! I have a ton of before pictures I will upload soon, then once we're through decorating i will put those up as well.

Update.

Well, i still have not been able to upload any of my pictures from Noah and Dylan's birthday parties onto the blog yet. I think i need to go buy a cord or a memory card reader to get it to work! So as soon as life calms down a little we will post them as soon as i can! ( Sorry Nan i know you're patiently waiting to see them! ) We have a lot of good things happening, we are closing on our house a week from today, which is very exciting, and Noah is going to be a big brother and is very excited! he walks around the house saying " baby brodder" "baby sister" :) What a cute little boy! On another note here is Noah at the park being a monkey hanging on the slide!

Keys and Noah's 2nd Birthday!

I have been a little crazy these past few weeks, we are trying to close on a new house, and we got a new computer and i cannot figure our for the life of me how to upload all my pictures onto our new computer. I am still in the process as to how to work all the features. :) But we enjoyed the Keys with our great family, i took Lilli and Noah down and we met Christine, Amanda, Jon and Ansley. As soon as i can get the pictures uploaded i will be able to post them! Also Noah celebrated his 2nd birthday on the 5th and we had his party on the 7th. It was Toy Story themed, and he loved every minute of it! We are so blessed to have such a smart kind hearted little boy, who is growing into a well mannered big boy! We cannot believe how fast the past two years have gone, it was hard not to tear up on his second birthday, while looking back at pictures on how tiny and precious the little monkey was. We are so proud of his success so far, and are so excited to see the young man he is turning into.

Happy Birthday Nick!

Hi all! We have been very busy bees this past month! Nick just got back on Friday from a week away for work, and I have been planning Noah's 2nd birthday, and we've gotten closer to buying a house! We put a offer in on a house, and it is a short sale so this week we should hear back from the bank, we cannot wait we are so excited!! But the 30th was Nick's birthday so Saturday Dad took Nick,Noah, myself, Britt, and Sharon ( bry's sis-in law) out on the boat. We had the best day, the ocean was blue as can be and flatter than i have ever seen! We stopped at a sandbar and after a while we went dolphin hunting. Not even 15 minutes on the ocean we found a huge pod of dolphins, I tried to get good pictures but they are too fast, and with a 2 year old on your lap its not the easiest ;) Then my camera died, but i did catch the top of the dolphin!

Hollywood Beach

Last weekend Nick and I took a no kid vaca, for the first time in a year and a half. We went to Hollywood Beach which is only 45 to an hour away from our house, it was well needed, and we didn't know when we would be able to do it again. We stayed right on the boardwalk which is located directly on Hollywood beach. We had so much fun. Brittany and Bryan ended up meeting us later Saturday afternoon, and we all had a great time together.
