Santa hat and New Crocs

For some reason Noah wore this Santa hat all day long, along with his new favorite shoes, his crocs. He found the Santa hat in his toy bin and was bopping his head around all day long so the ball on the end kept hitting him in the head, and he would just laugh! lol What a silly boy..

Kids, Kids, Kids

We had a full weekend of kids! Friday night my friends Kimber came over with her daughter Aubrien, as well as Britt and Bryan. We grilled burgers and the kids loved playing outside together!!

On Saturday we went to the beach with Amie the kids, Kell and Dyl, Kimber, Aubie, Britt and Bryan then a few other friends. It was Cody's first time at the beach and he loved eating the sand! All the kids had so much fun together, and all of the Mom's had a very relaxing day!

Daddy's lunch breaks.

Nick started a new job about 2-3 weeks ago, since then Noah and I don't get to see him very much. So we like to visit him on lunch break, he is right by the beach, and the park we actually meet at is called Carlin Park where we got married! They have a little park that Noah loves to play on, we meet at noon and are there for an hour, we have lunch play, then perfect timing for the little monkey to take a nap. It's a nice break in our days :)

Have i mentioned Noah's new favorite thing is climbing, he climbs up onto everything, he loves it! I just hope he doesnt start climbing out of his crib!!

Wow!

Noah was so tired a few nights ago at Brittany and Bryan's that he literally was delirious. Shortly after this long crazy man ran around and yelled, he crashed really hard! :)

This video was during his craziness, and he had to make sure we were all watching him before her would do anything. :)

Noah has said about 5-7 new words in the past day and a half, he is slowly starting to put words together, and I ask him a question he will say, "ya" or "no" and nod or shake his head to the correct answer. A couple weeks ago i started going through the ABC's yesterday we finally got through the whole alphabet and he will say every letter but about 4 or 5! :) Such a big boy, i cannot believe how big he is getting and too fast!

Birthday Fun!

Sunday was my birthday and unfortunately the hub was working, so i spent the day at the beach with Noah, Lilli, Kelly, Jacob, Brittany and Tiffany. Tiff and her boyfriend drive down from Massachusetts on Saturday so i was so happy they were here for my 23rd birthday! After the beach we went back to my parents and had a yummy barbecue, Mom, Dad, Christine, Uncle Jeff, and Amie came down. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday and am so very thankful we have such a loving family! :)

Potty Training and Destruction..

Potty training has been going very very well, we are at the stage right now trying to teach him the word potty, he says everything else but. :) I read in one of my books that to allow the child to correlate the idea of when he has to go, to say "potty", to put regular underwear on them. If they have the regular underwear and they have an accident it will trigger an ickie feeling, and teach them to go on the potty. So far it is going okay, the accident part doesnt seem to "teach" him anymore :) So im trying to get him to say potty before i put regular underwear on full time. :)

Yesterday as i was putting laundry away Noah thought he would have fun tearing through my hangers! He loves to wear Nana's pink furry socks, they are really really soft on his feet! :)

After throwing and tossing the hangers and unfolding my clothes in tuckered him out....

This weekend Lilli and Toby spent the weekend with us, Noah was the happiest little boy ever! On Saturday night Lilli was telling us a story, and every other word was ummmm. Noah was sitting on her lap and caught on to the new word "ummm" and every time she said it he would. It was so funny, he is mocking everything we are saying and doing, when they say "monkey see monkey do", i understand 100%! :)

Even though i am a full time student and stay at home mom, i have felt for quite sometime i need to do something to contribute for our family. My sister in law Amanda has really driven me to do something with my skills, she is so active with her crafts and her etsy account, that it has encouraged me to do something similar. Im starting to make natural accessories, for example, hair clip,headbands,belts, etc with starfish, shells sea glass, hemp, jute and other natural resources. Here is one of the few things i made this weekend.

Mollie.

Noah loves Mollie, they chase each other around the house, tug of war with the ball, and Noah laughs and laughs. Well Mollie is crazy when it comes to flashlights, he had been flashing the light everywhere but when he was first doing it he thought he liked the light but then he realized Mollie liked the light even better. He realized the light is what makes her goes crazy and he couldn't stop laughing, like falling on the ground cracking up, it was so funny to watch! He was laughing so hard he couldn't laugh anymore because he got the hiccups so bad!! I love watching how he interacts with her!


Noah is turning 19 months tomorrow, i cannot even believe how much he has changed in the past nineteen months. He is potty training, eating on his own with utensils, and talking up a storm, he understand everything we ask or tell him! He loves to give us kisses, and whenever he gets a booboo he runs up to me with a sad face and makes me kiss it so he feels better! :) Look at this big boy talking to himself in the mirror!!!
