Carving Pumpkins!

Nick, Noah, and I finally got around to carving our pumpkin! Noah really liked sticking his hand in the pumpkin and feeling the mooshy stuff inside. Once we took the seeds out and put them on a tray he started swirling them around with his hands and throwing them! He was trying to eat the seeds and the mooshy stuff, so he was covered in pumpkin by the time we were done.

After carving the pumpkin we had to rinse inside and out with a hose, in which Noah had a field day with!! He was splashing and trying to climb in it! He loved the fact that he could put his hands inside a big pool of water and splash! We also had to hose him off because he was covered head to toe in pumpkin!

Our Ending Result!!!!! We thought is was pretty good for our first family pumpkin!! :)

We can't share anymore!

Nick, Noah and I ate at Moes, and within the past few months Noah has been eating a lot of food. Well normally when we go out to eat Nick and I just share our food with him, not anymore! He ate a whole taco and a cookie! So needless to say we need to find more Kids eat free restaurants! :)

Pumpkin Patch!

Nick, Noah, and I met our friends Kimber, Mo and Aubrien at the pumpkin patch. Noah was so excited to play at the pumpkin patch he was running and screaming through the aisles. I was so worried he was going to trip over one but surprisingly he didn't! He liked picking the pumpkins up and throwing them, their were two pumpkins next to each other, one small-medium and the other was medium-large. He picked the smaller one up and threw it, he then tried pick the bigger one up and as he was doing it, he was grunting and then realized he couldnt! :) When i sat him in the midst of the pumpkins he liked playing the "drums" on the different sizes, and then he started pulling his hair, I have no idea why he does! :) He and Aubrien were sharing pumpkins together and they both loved when they were able to sit in the wagon. It's so great to see how much he is becoming a little boy!!

Cousins...

Noah loves his Lilli, he actually screams with excitement when he sees her! But this is Tobys car toy and Noah was super interested in it, so when Lilli got home from school she drove him around in it. He thought he was so cool, he loved it! Lilli is such a great big cousin to Noah! :) This is Cody recently, he is so cute , and he loves his Uncle Nick, we went to the boys soccer game and Cody couldnt take his eyes of Nick! He's doing better with his Jaundice, Amie says his levels are slowly becoming normal. Thank goodness!

Busy Week!!

So the past week has been very busy for our Norley household, between midterms Amanda and sweetpea Ansley visitng, helping Britt and Bry moving into their house. and even attending a wedding! It's been crazy on top of having a little mad man one year old! :)

Ansley has gotten so big, and she is the happiest baby and just smiles and talks to herself. She is the cuttest little thing! Amanda and I were quite shocked how cooparative the two of them were taking pictures, well Ansley was great Noah on the other hand we had to keep throwing the ball to him so he would stay:) If he didn't have the ball he would stare at her, and if she got too close he looked very concerened! But she loved him, but in no time they will be best buds running aroung together! :)

Noah loves doing what mommy does and he likes to wear my headbands, he thought he was so funny! By the way Noah loves this puppy, he takes it everywhere, we got it at a hospital in Gainseville when Amanda had Ansley!

Last night mommy and daddy had a date night, well kind of, our good friend from high school got married! It was a beautiful wedding, and a nice night out. It's funny because Nick and I have 4 other pictures in this same spot from 2 homecoming and 2 proms from high school! Crazzzyy! :)

Now tonight we were over at Brittany and Bryans new townhome in which they moved in on Friday, so lots of fixing painting and moving going on. Noah loves his Uncle Jacob, here Noah was getting ready to go night nights with his favorite blanky. Well Uncle Jake was too fun, he was pretending to sleep and then playing peek a boo with Noah. Noah was hysterical! It was the cutest thing!

Bike Ride and Park..

This morning after breakfast Nick,Noah, and I went for a bike ride and we biked to the park. Noah loves going to the park, as of right now he cant do much because there isn't a lot for a newly walking one year to do :) But he loved when we slid him down the slide, but he mostly loved when he climbed up the slide. Climbing seems to be his new favorite thing these days, up couches cribs, even our legs! But the green thing he is standing in he stood there just clapping he was so excited, i'm not quite sure why but he enjoyed it! :)

Eventuful day with Noah and Cody.

Today Noah and I went up to Amie's house bright and early to babysit little Cody. He is so itty bitty still it's funny to see Noah next to Cody it's like Noah is not a baby anymore he's a big boy , its so sad! :) But I put Noah down for a nap and Cody woke up from his, i set up Noah's old play yard that we passed down to the little one, and Cody loved looking at all the bright colors. There was a sun on it that played music and lit of with 6-8 different colors on the arms. He was mesmerized, i remember Noah being fascinated with the playmat and all the colors. Also as i see Ansley with her toucan and her playmat, it's so funny to see how they all relate to one another!As you can see the play mat tuckered little Cody out! So Noah woke up and saw the playmat and decided he wanted to play in it, i dunno if he remembered it or not but he was so excited! It was fun having Noah and Cody, but at times a little difficult because my little one didn't like when his mommy had the baby and not him he was attached to my leg crying hysterically. But at one point he helped me feed Cody his bottle! :) It's going to take baby steps.

To think at one point Noah hated bathtime, Auntie Amanda witnessed first hand a little over a year ago the hate he had for bathtime! Now he tries to dunk his face in the water, and tries to climb in the tub either when we say " time for a bath" or if one of us is taking a shower! He splashed like a mad man, by the time his bath is over the whole bathroom is basically soaked!

Weird New Thing.....

Noah started his weird nose snorting thing, he randomly walks around the house and squints his eyes and snorts his nose at the same time, then he laughs at himself. In the video he did it for a very short amount of time, because he found the remote and started yelling at me because he wanted me to turn it up so he can watch Baby Einsteins. P.S. one of the best inventions if you need to get anything done and your kid won't calm down! :) :) Noah is also now climbing up on things for instance today i was doing a midterm on the computer and i look over and he is just sitting on the couch smiling! It's crazy how fast he is growing up, for words he is saying the end of things, for instance for lunch he will say ch, ch and for breakfast he will say st. Yesterday it sounded like he said thank you (in his way of words) and also cheese, today when i was saying i love you he was staring at how i was saying it and then he made three similar noises almost mocking me. It is so fun to see!!

Beach Day!

We went to the beach this weekend with Auntie Kelly, Dylan, Shaw and Brie. On our way there Nick and I had the windows down in the car, which would explain Noah with his arms up in the air! He loves when the windows are down, we still can't put them all the way down because he still can't breath. We had so much fun Noah loves the sand, so much he was taking chunks of sand and eating it! I would try so hard not to let him eat it but he really wanted to:) The water was perfect it was crystal clear and very shallow with no waves so Noah loved playing in it.


Dylan loves to skim board he was so proud of himself because he was doing what Uncle Nick was doing. It was funny because there were a lot of bait fish and at first Dylan grabbed the sand bucket and tried to catch a fish with it, well he realized its basically impossible, so he then grabbed my beach bag! Still impossible :) But it was so cute to watch!!
